Every Tuesday 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Membership of the Armidale Men’s Shed
is a requirement for participation

The shed runs a weekly Women’s Woodworking Group (WWG) for members every Tuesday afternoon 1:00 - 4:30pm, which has been mentored over the years by various past members and is currently mentored by 3 exceptionally committed shedders, with a another stepping in over the Summer months.

Members turn up with projects ranging from repairs & restorations of existing items to building something from scratch – a couple of them often use the afternoon to work on ‘shed jobs’ as a means of skilling up while also contributing to the fundraising efforts of the shed.

Periodically, the group also organizes tutorials and demonstrations on all manner of woodwork-related topics, which run for around 1 hour before the start of the WWG on the Tuesday.
